While you'll need to have core academic fundamentals such as a high school diploma, having an associate's or bachelor's degree are also valuable tools to leverage in achieving winning results.   We'll want to know that you've already excelled in previous customer facing roles such as retail or outside sales and have demonstrated success in organizing and planning projects. Although not required, experience in the wireless industry or other technological products, as well as previous experience in leading sales teams that consistently exceeded goals would position you for continued success.

Required Experience

U.S. Cellular is a drug-free workplace and committed to diversity and inclusion.
  • High School diploma or state equivalency required; Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • 1 year retail sales experience required.
  • 1 year customer service/customer-facing experience required.
  • Experience managing special projects or initiatives.
  • 1 year cellular industry experience preferred.
  • Prior supervisory/coaching experience preferred.

We offer two Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBS) PPO plans; one which includes a high deductible plan combined with a Health Savings Account (HSA). We also offer an HMO plan in Wisconsin. All plans provide 100% coverage for preventive care.

We have a plan from Delta Dental with 100% coverage for preventive care (e.g., routine exams and X-rays).

Our vision plan features in- and out-of-network plans by VSP. In addition to yearly vision exams and coverage for contacts and glasses, our plan also provides a discount for laser vision correction.

Life Insurance/Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Basic Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment plans equal to one times annual salary with a minimum of $30,000. Additional coverage can be purchased for yourself up to 10 times your annualized salary and you may also purchase life insurance coverage for your spouse/domestic partner and dependent children.

Short- and Long-Term Disability
In addition to sick days, full-time associates are eligible for Short-Term (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD) coverage at no cost.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Associates can set aside pre-tax dollars for qualifying Health Care (HC) FSA expenses and/or Dependent Care (child/elder care) FSA expenses. Our plan also offers a HCFSA Debit Card.

Paid Time Off

We provide support for coursework at accredited colleges and education institutions with eligible degree programs. Eligible full-time associates are reimbursed at 100% for covered tuition costs up to the annual maximum; eligible part-time associates are reimbursed at 60% for covered tuition costs up to the annual maximum.

Associate Adoption Assistance
We provide financial assistance by reimbursing eligible associates for up to $5,000 for qualified adoption-related expenses.

Associate Support Fund
The Associate Support Fund is a company-and associate-funded program that provides emergency relief for associates facing a financial hardship as a result of a qualifying disaster or personal hardship.
