Starting salary is $65,062 - $68,161 annually, plus an $1.00/hr add-on ($3.00 for certain locations in Milwaukee and Dodge Co), plus benefits. Pay upon appointment for current or former State employees may vary and will be in accordance with the Compensation Plan, Statutes, and Administrative Code. Position Summary: This position is responsible for providing professional nursing care to inmate patients in both ambulatory and infirmary settings, providing patient assessment and treatment, assisting physicians in providing medical services, managing medications, providing emergency care, and maintaining medical records. In addition, the Nurse Clinician 2 is expected to participate in educational programs for staff and patients and participate in activities to maintain her/his nurse competency at a minimun profient level. Special Notes: Registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin at time of employment. Registration as a Registered Nurse in another state or reciprocating state.
