Processing Technical Coordinator

Line 2 Area Leader

  • Knowledgeable and able to coach and train processing equipment setup, assembly, startups, trouble-shooting, maintenance, shutdown, cleaning, sanitation, normal operation, and inspection
  • Coordinate closely with PM Pillar to maintain and repair processing equipment
  • Support and work closely with AM Pillar to facilitate the equipment ownership process and provide direction to processing equipment owners
  • Understand, trouble-shoot, and repair the following mechanical systems:
    • Centrifugal and positive displacement pumps
    • Power transmission equipment; electric drives and gearboxes
    • Pneumatic systems, including valves and actuators
    • Utility systems including compressed air, water, steam, and condensate
  • Read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Understand and model SQMS and HPO systems and tools
  • Responsible for meeting processing Safety, Quality, Reliability, and cost targets
  • Responsible to communicate and collaborate with all team members, team leaders, and pillar owners to achieve self-sufficient team goals
  • Responsible for driving processing issues to root cause and developing a zero-loss and continuous improvement culture
  • Embraces and champions positive change
  • Ensures all operating systems necessary to ensure food safety and quality are functioning properly
  • Work closely with all processing teams, maintenance, and Plant Sanitarian to ensure proper use of chemicals and all equipment is maintained and in sanitary condition

  • Perform the necessary physical activity for purposes of operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment including:
    • Climbing stairs and ladders, standing on, and moving around on platforms, equipment and concrete floors
    • Twist or bend at the knees and back
    • Lift objects up to 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques
    • Stand and walk for extended hours
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associates degree or higher preferred
