Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively communicate with Mercury Marine consumers through a variety of channels including; telephone, email, chat, social media, internet forums, etc.Communicate with internal teams to improve customer serviceHandle escalated consumer inquiries including follow up and all communicationsAccurately record all interactions in Mercury’s CRM systemsActively monitor and manage Mercury’s online presenceAct as an “online ambassador” for Mercury MarineCollaborate with Mercury’s marketing, category, sales, and technical service teams as directedFacilitate special consumer outreach campaigns and surveys Perform other associated and/or adjacent duties as assignedMinimal travel may be requiredAfter-hour involvement may be required periodically

Experience and Skills:

Ability to independently make decisions and solve problemsDetail oriented, resourceful, and able to manage shifting prioritiesRegular, reliable and predictable performance/attendance requiredStrong communication skillsPositive attitude and upbeat demeanorSelf-motivated with a strong consumer focusAbility to understand and adapt quickly to new technologies and systemsAbility to remain calm and positive in stressful situationsWorking knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM softwareProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Working knowledge of social media platform and internet forum usageDesire to rapidly learn customer service policies and become well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customersBi-Lingual (French or Spanish) DesirableTechnical Degree or equivalent experiencePrevious CRM and/or contact center experience is preferredMarine product knowledge and experience is preferred
