Mercury Marine - Maintenance Supervisor (2nd shift)

This person will be responsible to lead a group of skilled tradespeople as well as Support Personnel in maintaining equipment in a High-paced, advanced manufacturing facility. The Person will work Second shift and report to the Maintenance and Support Services Manager. Manufacturing Functions include Machining, Paint Operations, and Final Assembly.
Key Responsibilities:Support manufacturing in Assigning, Supporting, and troubleshooting all machine and Facility issues that may affect Production, Prioritization of the team’s activitiesParticipate on internal teams to facilitate the development of maintenance proceduresWork Independently to make decisions to support production and equipment up-timeFacilitate job completion both machine breakdown and scheduled work scenariosMaintain records of Employee benefits and Work Attendance, including Compensation, Attendance, Vacation, etc.Utilize existing CMMS Systems and RCM methodology to complete daily tasksUtilize and Plan Predictive Maintenance to minimize Machine DowntimeSupervision of Support Functions include Tool Room Activities, Cutter Grind and Tool Sharpening Activities, Stock Room and Maintenance Crib control
Experience and Skills:Understanding the IiOT and its interaction with maintenance and manufacturing measurementsThe ability to read and understand technical documentation related to machines and advanced Machine technologies.General knowledge of tooling and equipment associated with a manufacturing environmentGood interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate team membersCompetent in various PC related skills. Including spreadsheets, word processing, email, and the internetThe ability to interact in a team environment with other employees and groups.Competent in Kronos Time-Tracking (preferred)Bachelor’s Degree in A Technical Field (Preferred)Associates Degree in Engineering or a Maintenance related field (Required)2-4 years’ experience as a Supervisor in a Manufacturing or maintenance environmentLSS Training and Certifications (Preferred)
