Accountabilities:Work with the facility operations and maintenance groups to increase reliability while improving performanceProvide electrical power system engineering support for ongoing operation, safety, maintenance and future expansion of Mercury MarineEngineer & manage the installation, maintenance, repair and testing of a wide range of electrical equipment such as programmable logic controllers, generators, motors, transformers, control panels, cables, power distribution systems and associated switchgear in the plant.Administer electrical safe workplace practice compliance to assure safe work practices are defined so that an environment is created where employees identify safety hazards and mitigateOversee, coordinate and review electrical load/ circuit/arc-flash/ safety analysis processResponsible for maintaining records associated with electrical distribution system integrity
What you bring to our winning team:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineeringMinimum of 7 to 10 years of related experience, preference to industrial settings.Experience with power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS's, and generators.Ability to read & comprehend drawings such as: one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, circuit (elementary) diagrams, wiring termination drawings, control schematics, etcKnowledge of NFPA 70E arc flash requirements and all OSHA electrical compliance standards including local, state and federal codes.Electrical PE License, desired
Demonstrated experience with the following is also desired:Electrical codes, CMMS, and principles of electrical planning, scheduling & coordinationLean Six Sigma methodologiesVariable Frequency Drives & Industrial PumpsProgramming & troubleshooting PLC's and drives
