Position Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning activities and leading day to day management of business process project activities using Mercury's Project Methodology.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for coordinating all project tasks and deliverables such as Overall Project Plan, Budget tracking and forecasting, resource time tracking, scope change mgmt, risk/issue mgmt, decision tracking, implementation schedule.
  • Lead day to day management of project activities using Mercury's Project Methodology
  • Determines which project management tasks and deliverables best fit the project in order to ensure a successful implementation
  • Establish and manage detailed project schedule
  • Ensure timely progress and management of the project plan
  • Timely communication and status updates as per plan
  • Advises on process changes, GAP resolution and conceptualizing new methods
  • Ensuring deliverables are produced on a timely basis and meet quality standards
  • Coordinate touch points between functional teams together with other Project Managers and Technical Managers
  • Acts as a catalyst to resolve project problems and conflicts, escalating when necessar
  • Assesses strengths and weaknesses at project checkpoints
