Engineering Coordinator - Reno

Under limited supervision, responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining databases and other systems used for tracking, reporting, and benchmarking interdepartmental information, department budgets, projects, and meetings; coordinate meetings and department schedules; and complete special projects, as assigned. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience Manage communications and data input for the CPR and PO process; track and report department budget info. Assist supervisor with managing correspondence, including e-mails, phone calls, letters and visitors; answer routine and some complex inquiries and obtain and furnish information on behalf of supervisor as requested. Create and maintain complex documents and databases requiring the integration of information from multiple sources using multiple office technology and software applications. Act as the office resource for word processing and spreadsheet application. Research, compile and analyze information and data as assigned with a high degree of accuracy; evaluate results, identify and report issues.; take action to resolve issues, as needed Prepare and maintain confidential information and data with a high degree of accuracy. Schedule and maintain calendar of appointments, meetings, travel itineraries and coordinate related arrangements. Perform comprehensive event planning and coordination, including determining attendees, flow of information to attendees, equipment, staffing, catering, location, etc. Adhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable Know, understand and follow company policy Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
Ability to type 60 wpm
Ability to use personal computer and software applications Knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to work independently. Ability to work seated for prolonged periods of time. Knowledge of company products and services
Knowledge of office procedures and the operation of standard office equipment Knowledge of organization policies and practices Education
Associates degree in business preferred, or equivalent work experience Related Work Experience
